ABOUT BEANSTACK:

Beanstack is an app (web and handheld device) that helps libraries offer reading challenges. Thanks to the Vermont Department of Libraries for providing all libraries in Vermont with Beanstack! Beanstack is for readers of all ages.

How it works:

  • Start reading! Don’t forget to log your progress. Some challenges will let you earn badges for each hour or each book you read,  while others challenges will allow you to complete activities to earn badges.
  • It’s not just a summer thing! You can log your reading anytime, explore reading lists, and add book reviews.
  • Everyone can register! Adults can register accounts for themselves. Parents and guardians are encouraged to sign up to track their own reading and add a child to their account, if the child is too young to log reading for themselves. Be sure to select “Peacham Library” when you sign up. You don’t even need a library card to join Beanstack!
  • More Questions? Beanstack has an FAQ you can look at.
