AWIP: Guest, Patrice McDonough | Tuesday May 5, 1:30 PM

Patrice McDonough of Peacham VT will be the presenting guest at AWIP’s (Aging Well In Peacham) May 5th gathering at 1:30 in Peacham VT at the Peacham Library. 

Patrice, a retired VT Teacher of the Deaf, whose professional career spanned more than 50 years will share stories plus medical & technical “advances” that have served individuals who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing and DeafBlind.

Patrice will share valuable information, strategies and resources for improving communication as it affects seniors who are experiencing deafness as a result  of aging. 

In addition Patrice will share communication philosophies of Deaf Educt and how one size does not fit all individuals who were born deaf.
